Doris Lessing Studies, formerly the Doris Lessing Newsletter, is a mini-journal on Doris Lessing's writing, life, and politics.  Eighty-eight libraries subscribe to the journal, which is also indexed by the MLAIB and AHI . Doris Lessing Studies welcomes short articles on Lessing's work (fourteen pages or less), reviews of books by or about Lessing, reviews of Lessing lectures or interviews, news about members' work on Lessing, bibliographies, announcements, explorations of classroom experience, or other information relevant to Lessing studies. Occasionally, it provides translations of Lessing interviews published in other countries that are otherwise unavailable in North America.

Doris Lessing Studies also features special issues on themes pertinent to Doris Lessing's work: trauma (Winter-Spring 2008); approaches to teaching Lessing (Summer 2006); Lessing's relationship to other writers, theorists, and market politics (Spring 2005); aging (Summer / Fall 2004); myth and fairy tales (Winter 2003); postcoloniality (Fall 2001).

Manuscripts must be typed, double-spaced, no more than fourteen pages and should follow the MLA style. Please send as a Word attachment to the following co-editors.
