Hello graduate students! Welcome to public history! The basic format of this class will be reading/discussion. We will discuss archives, museums, historic sites, preservation, and the cultural landscape.  We will occasionally meet in off-campus locations, but this will generally not require travel beyond the Cape Girardeau area. However, I would like to have one session in Ste. Genevieve, because of its especially rich cultural heritage.
